Garden watering restrictions are now in place

Porirua, Wellington and Lower Hutt enter base restrictions during daylight savings (27 September - 4 April), this means you can only water your garden using a single watering system on odd/even dates depending on your house number, at certain times. For those of you in Upper Hutt, this applies year-round.

South Wairarapa also has year-round restrictions in place – these restrictions allow for garden watering on odd/even dates depending on your house number, and only applies to those on town supply.

Saving water now means we can keep our water reserves at a healthy level, so we can all enjoy water all summer long!
