We want to work closely with our suppliers for improved health and safety, procurement and customer service outcomes. We hold quarterly meetings with our suppliers.

Tender processes are carried out for all upcoming work for Wellington Water. Current tenders can be viewed online.

If you are interested in tendering for upcoming contracts the documents below show the standards expected and documentation required by all contractors.

Our vision is to ensure our people, suppliers and affected parties go home healthy and safe. Our aim is to apply a consistent approach to on-site health and safety across the Wellington region. Our health and safety policy is at the bottom of this page.

Our Contractor's generic health and safety documentation is reviewed by our independent assessor PreQual. A current PreQual assessment is required before a contract with Wellington Water can be awarded. This is to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the associated guidelines and regulations.

Site-specific health and safety plans also need to be approved before any contractor occupies a site.
