Drinking Water (EXAMPLE)
Every time you turn on the tap, you're using water that’s travelled a long way to reach you — from pristine catchments, through treatment plants, across a vast underground network.
That’s over 170 million litres of water, every single day, flowing to Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt, Porirua and Wellington.
We also supply smaller but equally important communities like Greytown, Featherston, Martinborough and Pirinoa.
On behalf of our councils, we work hard to deliver safe, clean drinking water every day to homes and businesses across the Wellington region.
