On behalf of Wellington City Council, we are renewing the wastewater pipeline in Pitt Street to reduce leaks, prevent blockages and increase the resilience of the network.

Work commences 6 June 2023 and will take approximately 17 weeks to complete.

Our contractors G.P.Friel Limited will be on site between the following hours: 

7am to 5pm Monday to Friday

7am to 12pm Saturday

Some traffic and parking restrictions will be in place during work hours and traffic management will be in place. Please take care and follow the guidance around the worksite for your safety and the safety of our crews.
