Boil water notice lifted for residents in Montgomery Avenue, Cathie Place, and Stockden Place in Karori
Wellington Water advises that the boil water notice has been lifted for residents in 81 - 125 (odd numbered) and 90 - 118 (even numbered) Montgomery Ave, all of Cathie Place, and all of Stockden Place in Karori.
The public network has been flushed and tested over the last 72 hours. Testing results over this period have come back all clear.
Residents supplied by a privately owned water tank need to carry out flushing before use.
If you’re returning to your home, please run a cold tap to flush your pipes and any appliances that are connected to the water supply.
Hot water cylinders and header tanks may need to be drained and refilled.
We thank all residents for their understanding, patience and co-operation over the last few days.
