Paremata Bridge lane closure from Wednesday 29 June to Friday 1 July

Wellington Water will be carrying out urgent repairs to the water main located under the Paremata Bridge from Wednesday 29 June to Friday 1 July. The water main is leaking and needs repairing.

Work will begin at 9am on Wednesday 29 June and will be finished by 4pm Friday 1 July. The water main is located under the carriageway, which means that a lane in each direction will need to be closed while the work is carried out. To help minimise the impact for commuter traffic, work will be suspended during the morning and afternoon peak travel periods.

There may be some delays for traffic passing through the worksite and traffic management will be in place throughout. There will be no effect on water supplies while the repair work is carried out.
